Robertson McQuilkin

Robertson McQuilkin (deceased) was the president of Columbia Bible College and Seminary (now Columbia International University). He stepped down from that role in 1990 to care for his ailing wife, Muriel, who was suffering from Alzheimer's. After she passed away in 2003 at age 81, Robertson continued to speak and write, authoring 19 books, including A Promise Kept, which detailed his struggles with his wife's illness and the lessons he learned. In 2005, Robertson married Deborah Jones, a professor at the University of South Carolina School of Nursing. Robertson passed away on June 2, 2016 at age 88. He is survived by Deborah and nine children.
