Domingo and Irene Garcia

Domingo and Irene Garcia started their married life as two headstrong teenagers, pregnant and both sixteen. Their first 10 years were filled with Domingo's alcoholism, physical abuse and infidelity, and Irene's hatred and verbal abuse. Then Irene became a Christian and prayed God would give her a new husband. Right when Irene was going to leave Domingo, a miracle happened – he asked for forgiveness and promised never to drink again. As God healed their marriage, Domingo and Irene adopted a little girl, and a new, incredible journey began – over the past four decades, the Garcias have birthed, fostered or adopted 32 children. Today, the Garcias are in their early sixties and still have 11 children in their home.
