Theme: The importance of family
Matthew is an inquisitive 10 year old who loves to tinker with things—often to the consternation of everyone around him. But when he isn’t breaking and rebuilding stuff, he’s helping Emily Jones solve mysteries around town.
“Whit” is an inventor, author, entrepreneur and owner of Whit’s End—an ice cream shop and “discovery emporium” where kids can be kids. His wise counsel, inventiveness and insight have made him a trusted friend and confidant to everyone in Odyssey.
Eight-year-old Camilla is an energetic girl with a lot of enthusiasm for sports, animals, and even serenading mariachi bands! She occasionally gets in squabbles with her sister Olivia, but they always work it out.
David is the Parker family father. He always tries to guide his three diverse children into making the right decisions.
11-year-old Olivia is a passionate young lady who struggles with her younger sister Camilla, defends her latest favorite cause, or tries to learn a new musical instrument. Sometimes all that activity gets her into trouble, but there’s always a lesson to be learned.
