Connie has worked at Whit’s End since she moved to Odyssey. She is spontaneous and never inclined to hold back what she’s thinking, but she has a strong heart for discipleship—especially toward the kids at Whit’s End.
The oldest child in the Perkins’ home. Bridget has dealt with the challenges of an absent dad, multiple family moves, and a pesky younger brother, Wyatt. And all of this on top of the usual difficulties of adolescence! She can be moody and mean and tends to hold back from showing her love to her family, but deep down inside, she really does have great affection for all of them, even Wyatt. She is protective of her younger brother, especially when others mock him. To protect herself when things change, she avoids showing emotion.
Valerie is a gorgeous high school girl and knows it! She is also manipulative, and that’s a dangerous combination. She’s intelligent but uses her smarts for evil. Valerie can normally be found teasing Jules Kendall or harassing Olivia Parker. Valerie rarely learns her lesson – but there was that one time in the Imagination Station…
Connie's half-sister, Jules first appeared at the funeral of June Kendall. Jules came to stay with Connie to escape California and has been the source of delight and trouble in Odyssey since then. She's not a Christian, and believes that life is a "food chain."
