When he first appeared in "The Green Ring Conspiracy," Buck Oliver was a deceptive yet highly intelligent fourteen-year-old. After his time in juvenile detention, Eugene and Katrina brought him into their home as their foster son.
Connie's half-sister, Jules first appeared at the funeral of June Kendall. Jules came to stay with Connie to escape California and has been the source of delight and trouble in Odyssey since then. She's not a Christian, and believes that life is a "food chain."
Connie has worked at Whit’s End since she moved to Odyssey. She is spontaneous and never inclined to hold back what she’s thinking, but she has a strong heart for discipleship—especially toward the kids at Whit’s End.
