Mike Berry and his wife, Kristin, are co-founders of the award-winning parenting blog Honestly Adoption and the support and resource website Oasis Community. He is a writer and influencer for the Disney website Babble.com, and his work has been featured on Yahoo Parenting, The Good Men Project, The Huffington Post, and more. He’s authored several books including Confessions of an Adoptive Parent and Winning the Heart of Your Child. A sought-after public speaker, Mike travels extensively throughout the nation to address audiences at camps, retreats, and conferences. Before becoming a full-time author and speaker, he spent 17 years in family ministry in churches in Ohio and Indiana. Mike and Kristin reside in Indianapolis and have eight children.
Dr. Joshua Hook is a Professor of Psychology at the University of North Texas, where he teaches Multicultural Counseling and Positive Psychology. He has written several books, including Cultural Humility, Replanted, and Helping Groups Heal. He also blogs regularly about psychology and faith at JoshuaNHook.com. He and his wife, Jenn, live in Dallas, Texas with their daughter, Autumn.
Jenn Hook is Founder and Executive Director of Replanted, a ministry that helps empower the church to support adoptive and foster families. She received her master’s degree in clinical psychology from Wheaton College and previously worked as a trauma therapist for children and adolescents in foster care. Jenn and her husband, Josh, are co-authors of the book Replanted: Faith-Based Support for Foster and Adoptive Families. The couple resides in Dallas, Texas, with their daughter, Autumn.
